Getting To Taal

Traveling to Taal on a private car doesn’t need my coaching, simply download Waze, Google Map, or Apple Map (whatever you prefer)! This travel guide is for those who prefer to visit Taal by public transportation. Let’s go!

The fastest and most convenient option to get to Taal is by bus. There are several bus operators that can take you to Taal and one of these transports is BLTB.

1. Wherever you are in Manila, head to Buendia and drop off at BLTB Terminal along Taft and Buendia Avenue. The terminal is also walking distance from LRT and MRT stations.

2. Once you are in the terminal, take the BLTB bus with the sign board Lemery. If you are not sure, you can ask BLTB staff which bus to take to get you to Taal. As of posting, bus fare to Taal costs Php 266 and travel time is around 2 hours.
3. Tell the driver that you are going to Taal town and tell him as well to drop you off at Flying V gasoline station. Take note, Flying V gas station is in Brgy. Mahabang Lodlod, a barangay in the municipality of Taal and your final destination is Taal town proper. So, make sure to get drop off at Flying V if you don’t want to end up in Lemery town.
4. From Flying V gasoline station, take the jeepney that goes to Taal town proper. Once you are in Taal town proper, you are already walking distance away to Taal’s ancestral houses, the Cathedral and everything you need to see and experience in Taal.
5. To get back to Manila, just take another jeepney drive and have you drop off at the same Flying V gasoline station. From there you take BLTB bus going to Pasay.
