The company I was working with for the past eleven years has hired me back. I was among the millions who lost their jobs. YES, I am one of the numbers left jobless by the pandemic. Of course, that was horrible but everybody knows COVID 19 left us no choice but learn how to live and deal with it.
Learning to live with COVID 19 means we have to embrace the new normal. This includes many many things we never anticipated and the one that makes a mark is the face mask. When we walk on the streets, jogging, shopping, and anywhere we go, we put on a face mask.
Dealing with COVID 19 all depends on us and not on protocols imposed. How I deal with COVID 19 is 100% based on priorities – my GOALS. And for the months that have passed living with the pandemic, I am so grateful to have managed to stick to my goals. It wasn’t easy as I thought but one thing I must say – GOALS achieved!
I arrived in the UK two days ago and have joined my assigned ship. I missed my routine onboard but I just can’t do it right now as I am still on day 3 of the 10-day mandatory quarantine. There are two swab tests I need to undergo within the isolation period. I already had one yesterday so one more to go.
Have a wonderful Monday everyone!
