It’s time to meet The Seven Sisters again! I started my watch at midnight with my camera ready and myself excitedly anticipating the scenery that will unfold as Balmoral sails along the scenic Norwegian fjord. After nearly two years of not having a glimpse of The Seven Sisters, I had been looking forward to seeing this impressive sight once more. With my phone camera fully charged, I was determined to capture my best instagrammable shots and a few video clips with these absolutely breathtaking mountaintops in the background.
At around 3 AM, the ship was at the waypoint in the ECDIS where everyone on board get the best view of the breathtaking seven mountaintops. For the next 15 minutes, the Seven Sisters is facing on the ship’s starboard side waiting for us from the navigation bridge to start clicking/tapping our cameras. For guests occupying suites/staterooms on the ship’s starboard side, and who had persistently waited for the ship’s passing in front of The Seven Sisters, certainly, they enjoyed the best view too.
After capturing photos, I spent the remaining minutes gazing at the natural scenery. It was absolutely one stunning perfect backdrop to just let my mind wander (for a bit). I’m getting some of my wishes on this cruise. I’m enjoying all the beautiful scenery as we visit from one port to another.
From every angle, everywhere I turned my head, I always find scenic Norway oozing with limitless natural wonders.
