Sugbo Mercado: A Foodie’s Paradise in Cebu City

Hello mga kaibigan! Welcome to my blog where I share my love for food and travel. Today, I want to tell you about one of my favorite places to eat in Cebu City: Sugbo Mercado!

Sugbo Mercado is a food market that offers a variety of cuisines from local to international. You can find anything from lechon to sushi, from burgers to dimsum, from pizza to halo-halo. There’s something for everyone’s taste and budget. Sugbo Mercado is located at the Garden Bloc of Cebu IT Park, which is a 27-hectare mixed use business park and BPO industry hub. It’s a perfect place to hang out with your friends, family or colleagues after a long day of work or sightseeing.

Sugbo MercadoSugbo Mercado is open from Thursdays to Sundays, from 5 pm to 1 am. You can enjoy live music, entertainment and games while you feast on delicious food. The atmosphere is lively, fun and festive. You can also shop for souvenirs, crafts and other items from local vendors. Sugbo Mercado is not only a food market, but also a cultural and social hub.

Some of the dishes that I recommend you to try are:

– Lechon belly from Cebu’s Original Lechon Belly. This is a must-try when you’re in Cebu. The pork belly is roasted until crispy and tender, and served with rice and sauce. It’s so flavorful and satisfying.
– Sushi from Sushi Boy. If you’re craving for some Japanese food, you can’t go wrong with Sushi Boy. They have a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, tempura and other dishes that are fresh and tasty.
– Burgers from Burger Joint. If you’re looking for a juicy and satisfying burger, head over to Burger Joint. They have different kinds of burgers with toppings like cheese, bacon, mushrooms and more. They also have fries, onion rings and milkshakes to complete your meal.
– Dimsum from Dimsum Break. If you’re in the mood for some Chinese food, Dimsum Break is the place to go. They have steamed and fried dimsum like siomai, hakaw, spring rolls and more. They also have noodles, rice meals and desserts.
– Pizza from Pizzaghetti. If you’re a fan of pizza, you’ll love Pizzaghetti. They have thin crust pizzas with toppings like pepperoni, ham, cheese, pineapple and more. They also have pasta dishes like spaghetti, carbonara and lasagna.
– Halo-halo from Ice Giants. If you want to cool down with a refreshing dessert, Ice Giants has the best halo-halo in town. Halo-halo is a Filipino dessert that consists of shaved ice, milk, sweet beans, fruits, ice cream and more. It’s a perfect way to end your meal.
– Vegetarian food from Veggie Bites. If you’re looking for a healthy and meat-free option, Veggie Bites has you covered. They have vegetarian versions of Filipino favorites like sisig, adobo, kare-kare and more. They also have salads, wraps and smoothies.

Sugbo MercadoThese are just some of the many food options that you can find at Sugbo Mercado. There are so many more that I haven’t tried yet, but I’m sure they’re all delicious. Sugbo Mercado is definitely one of the best places to eat in Cebu City. You’ll never get bored or hungry here.
