Callao

We Arrived Callao, Peru!

From Guayaquil, Ecuador, we arrived in Callao, Peru! I wonder where in the world I placed all the photos I had of Callao 10 years ago. I remember I went on a tour at that time. During the tour, we had a stop at a local market where I bought a floor carpet made of alpaca fur skin. But when I brought it home, I had it encased in glass and mounted to the wall instead – too costly to be stepped on. 🙂

CallaoThere were makeshift shops at the pier. These were shops selling mostly local Peruvian stuff like knitted jackets, scarves, miniature wooden carvings, fridge magnets, alpaca fur carpets and wall decors, and more.

The ship was sailing at 6 PM, so I didn’t have the chance to revisit downtown Callao. The place is a really nice place to explore.

I enjoy the seas but I love the less demanding life in a farm more than anything else. While I find myself caught between personal life and work, I still manage to make time doing the one thing that I enjoy – BLOGGING.
