Beautiful Kirkwall Landscape

We’re in Kirkwall, Orkney Island in Scotland. This shot was taken just after I finished my watch this afternoon using the bridge’s iPhone 12. I also took another photo exactly the same subject/landscape (whatever you call it) using my aging iPhone XS Max. After comparing the two shots, here’s the harsh realization. My 4-year old phone can’t surpass the image quality of newer iPhone.
Isn’t it time for an upgrade? It’s both a YES and NO. YES if I have the budget. But for now, it’s definitely a NO.
