So, I completed another contract on the ship and once again I disembarked in Norway. The first time was in Alesund and the most recent was in Tromso. It’s not that I particularly love disembarking in Norway, it’s just that I needed a change from disembarking in the UK all the time. So, it was refreshing to sign off from the ship in Norway for a change.
Tromso Airport is unlike any other airport I’ve been to. It is electronic in the sense that there are no manned check-in counters. Instead, you have to use the electronic check-in machines. At first, I thought it was an ATM, but it turned out to be something different. Initially, I faced some difficulty while using the unmanned check-in counter as I wasn’t familiar with it. However, after some effort, I was able to check in successfully.
It seems that I made a silly mistake by not taking any photos during my time at Tromso Airport. Looking back, I am disappointed that I only have one image to use for this post. I wish I had captured more of the airport.
