Bay of Biscay

Bay of Biscay: Smooth Sailing and Cravings

We’re cruising along the Bay of Biscay on our way to Funchal, Madeira. Guess what? We’re having such a chill ride today! The water is super calm and the atmosphere is serene, a far cry from the rough seas we usually encounter in this area. It’s crazy to think that just last month we had to brave a typhoon in the same waters. But hey, let’s focus on the positive, right? It’s a relief to have a peaceful and smooth ride today.

As we sail towards the next port, I can’t help but daydream about the warm sun and cool breeze on my face. The weather is simply perfect, and it’s making me crave some comfort food. All I can think about when we get to Funchal is getting off the ship and heading straight to McDonald’s to indulge in my favorite burger. It’s been too long since I’ve had that juicy patty and special sauce, and I can almost taste it already. Although we have burgers onboard the ship, there’s just something special about that juicy patty at McDonald’s that I can’t resist, and I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

I finally made it to the gym last night after skipping out for the past three days. I know how tough it can be to get motivated sometimes! LOL… Wouldn’t it be great if going to the gym was as easy as going out for dinner?

So this is for now. I’m about to hit the hay and catch some z’s. Gotta make sure I’m well-rested for work tomorrow.
