Winter Voyage through Kiel Canal: A Chilly Transit to Copenhagen

Today was an exhilarating day as Balmoral navigates the scenic Kiel Canal on its way to the captivating city of Copenhagen. Despite the overcast skies, the view was breathtaking, with stunning landscapes and picturesque waterscapes as far as the eye could see.

Unfortunately, the chilly weather prevented me from enjoying the view outside deck fully, and I had to stay inside the ship. However, I had several safety tasks to complete, which kept me busy and productive throughout the day.

Speaking of safety, a few days ago, our bosun distributed some warmer outfits to help us stay cozy in the cold weather. Although I haven’t tried them on yet, I’m looking forward to donning them on our next cruise as we head to the northern part of Norway.

Sometimes, I can’t help but wonder why we’re cruising up north during winter instead of heading south to the sunny Caribbean, where we could bask in the warm sunshine and soak up the tropical vibes. What do you think? 🙂 🙂 🙂
